THE VISIONARY

Brian D. Hill is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia where he began operating in his gifts and talents at Tallwood High School as the lead director for the gospel choir. Brian’s musical influence began at an early age of 10 with classical choral music. In 2007 Brian graduated from Tallwood High School to later on pursue his passion in musical development.  

As he perfected his craft in teaching and directing, he began expanding his ability to serve at several assemblies within the Tidewater Region. For 3 years, Brian Hill spearheaded the Martin L. King Fellowship Choir of Chesapeake in support of the MLK Annual Service that encompassed over 150 voices. He later organized the United Fellowship of Chesapeake Citywide Choir Workshop, which subsequently led him to be appointed the coordinator of Virginia Prayer Society and Suffolk Citywide Chorales. Brian is also active member of GMWA Tidewater Chapter by servicing the community at large.

            In 2016, Pastor André Jones of Christ Revolution Church challenged Brian’s faith to trust the Lord in his ability to establish his own aggregation of singers. After extensive deliberation, he created and founded The Provenance Singers, a group that is comprised of a variety of individuals ranging in the ability to execute any style of gospel music within its’ particular brand. The Provenance Singers are known for their unique distinct sound influenced by Donald Lawrence, Richard Smallwood and Pastor André Jones.

Since the debut of Brian Hill & The Provenance Singers in March 2017, they have ministered at over 80 assemblies by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through song. They were recently featured on Earnest Pugh’s latest project released in 2017 entitled ‘Survive’ which charted at Number 3 on Billboard Gospel Albums. Furthermore, Brian Hill also wrote The Provenance Singers’ first original single that was released in the summer of 2018 titled Without You, Lord. God has truly blessed Brian Hill & The Provenance Singers and continues to show his unmerited favor upon this special group of individuals.
